This page lays out the basics of getting started with Atlas, much of which is completed during your onboarding process. Bridge strives to make setup simple and straightforward - less time spent configuring and maintaining your dashboard means more time spent with your clients.
โ€‹
โ€‹You'll see 5 navigation tabs at the top of your Atlas landing page. From left to right they are Dashboard, Revenue, Reporting, Clients and Insights.

Firm Settings

Most advisors start by configuring their firm-wide settings.

Follow the above link to learn more about navigating to the settings page, uploading a high-resolution logo, enabling client portal features, and inserting your disclosures.

Billing Setup

One of the main features of Atlas is Billing. Our billing and invoicing system packages the complexity of fee calculation behind an easy-to-use interface. It uses your fee structures, applies them to billing groups, and creates an output to upload directly to the custodian to collect your fees.

Remember, you don't need to dive into every configuration option if it doesn't apply to your firm. The system auto-groups accounts for you, all you need to do is define and assign fee structures, no other set up is required. Use the following links or visit the Billing support page to learn more about the specifics on how to set up your billing.ย

At the end of each billing cycle, simply run your billing. You will be prompted if any accounts lack a fee structure or a billing group. Once all accounts have been assigned fee structures and billing groups, run your billing. The output lives in Billing Reports.

Reporting Setup

Reports can be generated as print-friendly PDF documents or interactive web reports.

Start by establishing your reporting settings in Reporting Setup. Then, find out exactly how to run Web Reports or generate Printable Reports.

Client Portal Setup

The Client Portal allows your clients to access their account details, view invoices, share files and add held-away accounts. End-clients only have access to features that are enabled in the client portal settings.

When you're ready, you may invite your clients to use the client portal. If you'd like to invite clients in bulk, please contact support@bridgeft.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Additional firm users

Bridge does not charge for multiple firm users. You are free to add as many advisors, employees, or 3rd party stakeholders (e.g. a CPA) to the platform. See User Management to learn more about defining permissions and assigning roles.

NOTE: Users vs. Clients

Throughout the Atlas platform and this documentation "Users" refer to employees within the investment advisement firm, while "Clients" refer to end-clients serviced by your firm.
