Timeline: 5 - 8 business days

*Please note Schwab Has Been Delayed recently due to the TD > Schwab merger. If the ROI is taking longer than normal please reach out to Schwab to confirm the ROI was completed successfully and escalate through Schwab directly.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to submit the required paperwork needed to retrieve your data feed directly from Schwab.

Should you have any questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach us by opening a ticket with our team at bridgeft.zendesk.com anytime. Thank you for helping make your data more timely and direct!

Process:

Log into Schwab Institutional and select Account Management at the top of the page.

1(of 6). Go to the Account Management

2(of 6). Select forms library

3(of 6). Search for “Request for Data Access Agreement”. To the right of that form, click Submit Request.

4(of 6). Complete the required fields for Advisor & Firm Information, Master Accounts, and the Third-party data recipient information listed below. (Screenshot Provided)

  • Recipient and Signer should be: Bridge Financial Technology Inc

Note: If you are completing these instructions for an integration, please indicate the integration partner in the comment section.

For example, type into the comments: "Please include [Integration Partner Name] in the DocuSign email to authorized signers."

You can now click the Submit request.

5(of 6). Within three business days, you, your service provider, and the service provider's agent (if applicable) will receive an email notification to sign the form via DocuSign®.

6(of 6). Open that email and click the link on the email notification and provide your signature.

*Important* Please let us know this has been completed by opening a "Data Feed" ticket with our team at bridgeft.zendesk.com as we will need to map this advisor code to your Atlas firm.

After all signatures are obtained, Schwab will assign the master account to the downloading firm and send an email notification to the service provider (and service provider's Agent, if applicable).

Complete! Your Advisor Code (Master Number) and the associated accounts will flow through BridgeFT as soon as Schwab completes the data feed initialization per the steps followed above. As soon as Schwab completes this process the data will be made available your Atlas site.

If you have questions about the data access set up process, call Schwab Advisor Platform Support at 800-647-5465.

In regards to SSN/TIN information:

The SSN/TIN has always been restricted in the data files at the master account level, requiring a request from an authorized agent at the firm to authorize the release of information. A request can be made by calling our Advisor Platform Support (APS) team at 800-647-5465, who will submit a ticket to our operations team.

You may request it for all masters at the firm and it will be something that has to be requested each time a new master is created.

(Optional) Firm Level ROI:

Completing an ROI at a firm level master account number provides all of the advisor codes within that master account. The benefit of this is only needing to complete an ROI one time and then all of the advisor codes will feed into bridge. This Firm Level ROI is communicated to BridgeFT through a FAM file from Schwab.

*Pre-requisite: This must be set up directly with Schwab in advance before completing this optional step.

In order to get this set up with Schwab:

  • Call the Schwab Advisor Platform Support team at 800-647-5465.

  • Reference the Firm's SL Master and request the FAM file be generated for your feeds.

Result: The FAM File for your firm will be added to the data feed to BridgeFT. Included in this file is a Client to Advisor(Master#) relationship.
