Below you will find instructions for how to reactivate BridgeFT user credentials to Schwab Advisor Center.

As a reminder, Bridge uses this access to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of your data. We do not have permissions to edit or change your accounts, only to view and download data. These permissions are functionally a different way for us to view data we are already receiving through the data feed.

Have your Firm Security Administrator log into Schwab:

Go to More β†’ Launch Security Administration

Toggle over to the Add/Change User tab:

This screen will allow you to filter and search for active and inactive users. Input Inactive in the dropdown. The Inactive users will populate. Select the user created for BridgeFT.

Review the Current Status. The status will read Inactive. Navigate to Status Change, select the dropdown and select the option Reactivated per Client Request and select Save. This will reactivate the BridgeFT user.

Resetting the password for BridgeFT:

  • Please Follow these steps below to reset the password.

  • Make sure to send this updated Temporary Password to our team.
