There are a number of billing settings throughout Atlas, so to make things easier we have added a screen where the more common tasks can be completed.

Similar to the Accounts tab view, the default Billing Review columns are more relevant to the billing setup.

Navigating to the Billing Review Page

There are two ways to get to this page:

  1. Select Clients from the top navigation bar β†’ Billing Review

  2. On the Revenue page, click on the numbers in the Billing Status section next to "Accounts without Fee Structures" and "Ungrouped Accounts" (in the gif below, 8 in both cases).

This will take you to a pre-filtered view where you can see the accounts without a fee structure or group based on your selection.

Once on the Billing Review page

Assign Billing Groups

In order to navigate accounts by billing group, you can either click on the Billing Group column heading to sort accounts by billing group, or hit the Filter button to filter by specific billing groups.

Note that it will default display ungrouped accounts at the top.

If accounts need to be added to an existing billing group, you can select the account(s) and then select Actions β†’ Billing Group Actions β†’ Assign Group. A screen will then appear that lets you choose or assign the billing group.

If you need to create a new billing group, simply select Create Group and a screen will pop up where you can define the name and add accounts.

If you want to create billing groups in bulk, we recommend following the instructions in this article. Here you will find the option to create all groups from households.

Assign fee structures, splitters, etc

Just like on the accounts table, you can select accounts and assign a number of settings with the Actions button at the top.

We recommend sorting the columns to easily identify accounts without fee structures, splitters, etc.

For other settings (e.g. asset exclusions, creating fee structures), please see our other Billing articles.
