Let's talk portfolios and allocation tolerances.

We know that each client and each strategy require a balance of accuracy and leeway in pursuit of a well organized portfolio. Atlas allows you to set not only the weight of security types you'd like per strategy, but also how much wiggle room you allow within the strategy.

To start, go through Settings > Reporting settings > Target Allocations. At the bottom, select create. Here you'll see asset class, weight per asset, and +/- tolerance.

Here is where you'll allocate the weight per security type. The tolerance level is the allowance the security type has to being over or under the target weight.

This allows your strategy to be as flexible or strict as you allow it to be. It also allows you to stay within a threshold of a strategy without straying away from your overall goals.
