By default, Atlas will set the Billing Start Date of an account to be the first date that we have a balance for the account.
Advisors may wish to change this date for various reasons. For example:
An account was funded on 3/15 but you began advising the client on 3/1 and you'd like to start billing on 3/1
An account was funded on 3/15 but did not get invested until 3/31 and you want to start billing on 3/31
Steps to change the billing start date
Navigate to Clients Page. Make sure you're in Accounts Mode (Default).
Select the name of the account for which you'd like to adjust the date. You will be taken to the account profile page and will be able to set the start date here.
Once you have your desired Billing Start Date selected, hit Save.
